Festival Tipi Wedding in Harrogate

Relaxed outdoor wedding photographer near Harrogate, Yorkshire

Lawrence and Sarah - where do I start? Well, I guess the first thing that I need to say is that their wedding day was just perfect. From the start they had said to me that they wanted it to be one big party and that's exactly what it was - everyone had fun from beginning to end, including me. I consider my style of photography as being fairly laid back and it suited this wedding day down to the ground.

Sarah is originally from Darley near Harrogate in Yorkshire so they decided to get married in the local church and then have the reception in a Tipi (supplied by Big Chief Tipis) just up the road in the next village.

Sarah's brother Ian drove Lawrence and Sarah around in style in a very cool red Mini Moke which belonged to Sarah's late Father and also organised a fab surprise - the bridesmaids were travelling in them too!

At the church Sarah and Lawrence asked me not to photograph the service as they didn't want to be distracted and wanted it to be personal, so I got to attend as a guest which was just so beautiful (even if my finger was twitching on my camera!)

Once the food and speeches were done the party really started and we danced the night away to the Jack Rabbits followed by some of Sarah and Lawrence's friends dj'ing.

There are soooooo many pictures of this fantastic day, but here are some of my favourites! Please feel free to leave a message at the bottom for the Bride and Groom (or me!).

BIG THANKS also goes out to:

Bar – Tipsy Trough

Caterers – Birchfield Farm
